Virez Gaskets by Gore ePTFE
Gaskets for Industrial Use
Gore Sealants are among the world's tightest chemically-resistant gaskets.
Made from 100 percent expanded PTFE, GORE? Gaskets are suitable for use
throughout the entire pH range, except molten alkali metals and elemental
fluorine. These gaskets withstand temperatures from -450oF to 600oF
(-268oC to 315o C), making them ideal for both high
temperature and cryogenic applications.
Learn more about Gore expandedPTFE (More +)
- Highly conformable to achieve incredible
tightness
- Capable of sealing damaged flange surfaces
- Resistant to creep and cold flow
- Superior blowout and high temperature performance
- Longer service life, typically without need for
retorque
- Superior reliability performance
Importance of creep resistance (More +)
Creep resistance is the
gasket's ability to resist creep relaxation, an unwanted deformation that
occurs while a gasket is in service. Avoiding such deformation retains bolt
load in a flanged connection to minimize leakage.
A gasket material with greater
creep resistance provides more assurance that the seal will be maintained,
thereby, maximizing operational reliability and sealing performance of your
flanged connection.
